I tell everyone stay away from US 31 in Indiana. I was arrested driving to EF in 2023. Pulled over because "my county numbers were obstructed by my license plate frame". Indiana officers can call in K9s to do a "free air sniff" on any person pulled over for anything other than a seatbelt violation. Do not take this route. They pull deputies from the surrounding sheriff's departments to flood the highway with patrol.
