I just finished listening to currents and it was so good, but when I was about to listen to the most popular track on the album, it just kinda fell flat. Everything before and after that track was insane and an incredible experience, that when tliktb kicked in it just felt super out of place. I dunno what are your guys opinions?

I’ve been thinking about this lately.

Do you guys put Tame Impala in the same tier as Radiohead, or is that a stretch? I know Kevin Parker doesn’t have as large a catalog, but the consistency, production, and influence of albums like Innerspeaker, Lonerism, and Currents make me wonder if he’s in that conversation. Radiohead obviously has the deeper discography and has reinvented itself multiple times, but Tame Impala has created a sound that countless artists have copied over the last decade.

Curious where everyone lands. Same level, close but not quite, or not even in the same league?

Seems to be an old website link which still has loads of TSR tour posters and merch in stock, given how shit the deadbeat merch is thought some people might like to see this. Whether it'll get delivered or not or they've accidentally left it up who knows. But it's definitely his domain.

hi everyone! this is my first ever tame impala show. i really really want to be barricade, im gonna be with a group of 4 ppl total. how early do you recommend showing up to get barricade? i know some ppl have said you usually don’t need to get there super early, but i’m nervous this time around due to djo being the opener lol. any insight is appreciated!!!

This is a complete long shot but I am getting the craziest fomo at the thought of not going to his show this week.
I'm in Tampa and I waited in the queue the second presale opened and my wifi CRASHED. after that everything was insanely overpriced and I have to pay my own tuition so I gave up. Now that it's coming up so soon I'm getting really sad about missing it. My birthday's coming up soon too. I'm turning twenty and I'd do anything to hear apocalypse dreams live. I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind going alone I just cannot find anything reasonably priced. If anyone is giving away tix or smth lmk! I'm expecting everyone to be ruthless but it's worth a try lol
