Innerspeaker turns 16 today!!
best album by him imo. feels kinda sad knowing that we may never get anything in this style again, but ignore that, because we all know some things have to change ;) happy 16 years of innerpeaker! :D

Took me a while to get into it, in the beginning I didn’t really have an opinion about it, now the album is amongst my most played. It’s not on the same levels as his previous work, I’ll admit that, but it’s super chill and really fun, especially My old ways, No Reply, Loser, afterthought and end of summer have an incredible vibe to them. In short: hate isn’t deserved at all.
I don't normally do these types of posts but anyway
This song has a great place at the end of Lonerism imo, and every time I listen to it I get literal chills. I never, and I mean NEVER cry to songs, but whenever I listen to Sun's Coming Up I get damn close to it. I've listened to a lot of music, and it might just be the saddest song I've ever heard (at least for me), especially because of the meaning behind it.
In my opinion Sun's Coming Up is the 2nd best closer to a tame Impala album after One More Hour. I don't listen to it much outside of the album, but when I listen to Lonerism and Sun's Coming Up plays it really hits me.
What are your thoughts on this song?
Fcukers were the opener for Kevin & The Gang during their first leg of the US tour. They are coming to my music fest and I was debating whether to see them or skip. I like their music, but they might be too chill I guess? Engaging enough to keep the mind moving, but boring enough for work office background music if that makes sense
Anyone saw them live? Are they good?
Just curious because I had to go home but wish I waited now :(
It’s 2am and I can’t sleep, suddenly remembered this.
During the show, Kevin’s toilet break to go from the main stage to the B stage was actually really cool. But did he actually go to the toilet? Or did he just stand there while being streamed to the big screens?
Just curious
as the tweet says, people’s cameras have been destroyed due to the use of lasers in harry styles’ set. has anyone had this problem at a tame impala concert? this is my first time going to a concert of his, and i’d like to know if my phone camera would survive the laser show. 😁
I’ve been listening to those songs in the past few days more often and I want to know if the community likes them?
There's just something about that feeling...
had 2 ex best friends leave my life a few years ago and this song always manages to play whenever i think/miss them. now looking back, i’m glad that they did leave and this song will always make me remember the reasons why.
I WAS SO EXCITED TO TRY DOLBY ATMOS WITH THIS ALBUM BUT THEY NEVER MADE A MIX FOR IT💔
I was thinking about the song "One more hour" and how in many ways it's one of his last songs with beautiful psychedelic elements.
I recently showed the song to my friend and he told me that the last two minutes sounds like saying goodbye to someone you'll never meet again.
Almost like saying goodbye to that "era" of Tame Impala where he's now exploring new sounds and genres.
The drum sound is so damn good, arguably better than Tame Impala's. Does anyone know anything about the kit, the recording setup, techniques etc.?
