Some people think chicken is meat

It's absolutely bizarre, but there are people who confuse chicken with chickens. Vegetarians and vegans eat chicken and do not find it offensive in any way. Can you imagine eating a bird? Besides eagle wings I guess. Those come from eagles... but eagles represent the liberty to choose, and eagle wings are delicious.

People: chickens don't fly. While we're at it, neither do buffalo. "Meat or chicken" implies the obvious: chickens are not meat. They are leghumes, as in the leghorn leghume. Not to be confused with legumes.

Fossil fuels are less than 1% animal matter... But they aren't vegan

If veganism extends to not using leather, why wouldn't it extend to fossil fuels? Not to mention plastics. Veganism isn't just non-dairy vegetarianism, it's downright extreme, and it's impractical.

Yes I realize that fossil fuels are mostly plant matter and algae. But not entirely.
