I checked on this sub, the discord server, and GitHub. While I see some other users occasionally have brought the issue up, there’s been several updates and new releases without any mention of the iOS Bluetooth stability issue.

I know iOS is not as popular as Android in many regions, but having the BLE connection drop out after brief periods of inactivity, but this issue has been a big challenge with community adoption in our area. A lot of folks new to the platform or migrating over from Meshtastic have been understandably frustrated when they miss messages or have to reconnect frequently, so it would be good to get more visibility and clarity on when it will be addressed.

Of course if anyone knows any workarounds that would be great, but I haven’t found any.

EDIT: Tried out PommeCore and so far seems to be working great. Was using the app while connected last night and this morning was still connected via BT. Would be great if the official app worked as well regarding Bluetooth connection.
