Am I better off buying a 3ds second hand from a second hand shop (guts of like £300 for one) or eBay? Also best advice and way to go about doing one homebrew?

Haven’t done all my research into homebrew, but I assume I can get any game on it from the 3ds era?

Had a recent surge of wanting to collect the medals in Japanese and had a HUGE win of getting almost 400 medals from mostly all the series minus dream/treasure.

Does anyone still get the urge to collect them, or occasionally get one from time to time?
