Doing a rewatch and I’m at Schwartz and Katie’s wedding. Did anyone else find it SO ODD that Schwartz gave his MOM a ring at his wedding?

I searched in the thread desperate to see people’s opinions on this but didn’t find anything. I just thought this was wild… Especially reflecting back on his whole “ring on a string” deal with Katie. In the words of James Kennedy, it felt very incesty and weird.
