Hi all,

I've had the canon eos r50 for some time now, and am wanting to upgrade from the 18-45mm kit lens.

The other lenses I currently have are the canon rfs 10-18mm and the canon rf 100-400mm.

I am tossing up between the Sigma 18-50mm and the Canon RFS 18-150mm. I'm leaning towards the canon for greater range, but the lower light capabilities of the sigma are what is making me conflicted. I won't be carrying the 100-400mm everyday while travelling either.

I wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts on this, or alternatively has any other suggestions in a similar price & similarly compact size. I haven't travelled with a proper camera yet, will I feel a noticeable lack of range with the 18-50?
