LinkedIn Project Contributor Showing on One Account but Not Another – Removed or Glitch?
I’m confused about something on LinkedIn and was wondering if anyone has experienced this before.
A few months ago, a friend and I worked on a project together. He added me as a contributor to the project on his LinkedIn profile. The project had three contributors in total.
A few weeks later, we had a falling out. He removed me as a connection and unfollowed me.
Naturally, one of the first things I checked was whether he had also removed me as a contributor from the project. When I viewed the project from my main LinkedIn account, I could only see the third contributor’s profile linked there. My profile was no longer visible, which made me assume that he had removed me.
However, I also have a separate LinkedIn account that I use solely for my services/business. When I view the exact same project from that account, I can still see my profile listed as a contributor. It’s been over two months and it still appears that way.
I’d appreciate any insights from people familiar with how LinkedIn project contributions work.
