Vehicle Wide Programming and Service App Issues

Brought my First Edition RST in to the dealership to fix my midgate not properly opening those two bottom panels individually (latch is jammed or some other issue) as well as to perform the vehicle wide programming. This was a scheduled service appointment.

It’s been almost 3 days now and I still can’t get an answer from them on the status of the truck. First they said they’d call me yesterday with an update, which they didn’t. I called them today, said they’d call back after talking to the technician. Not a word from them again after 3 hours, so I call them again and they said they’d call me back in another 15-20 minutes. That was over 30 minutes ago now.

I think the worst part is the dealership had no idea what the vehicle wide programming is. I had to refer them to the GM bulletins with the instructions on how to do it.

Anyone else had a similar experience? Now I’m worried they’ll brick my truck somehow. I’ve had this truck for less than a month.
