Hello everyone!

I have a 2026 cx50 and my parents have a 2025 cx5. Both SUVs have the Mazda roof racks/rails. We want to take a trip and want to have extra large cargo boxes to store luggage and such.

I wanted to know if anyone has recommendations or warnings about what will or won't fit.

We were considering grabbing 2 Yakima Skybox NX XXL boxes, and I just want to be sure it will fit without preventing the rear hatch from opening. Not sure if the slightly longer cx50 makes a difference here?
