What’s it like living in the Croydon Park neighborhood?
Hi everyone! My husband and I are considering a few homes in the Croydon Park area (near Maryvale Park), and we’d love to hear from people who actually live there or know the neighborhood well.
We’ve spent a lot of time looking around Rockville, and one of the biggest draws for us is how walkable this area is, with the Metro about a 10-minute walk away, very cute park, and the town center also very close!
Our biggest question is what it’s like to actually live there day to day, especially in terms of safety. How comfortable would you feel walking to/from the Metro after dark or walking home from Rockville Town Center in the evening? Are there any streets or areas you’d avoid, or does it generally feel safe?
We’re also curious about the overall vibe of the neighborhood—friendly neighbors, community feel, schools, anything you wish you’d known before moving there, etc.
