Tried everything to get it started

Usually fighting this engine but worked fine this season until last week. Started driving and engaged blades and it shut off. Nothing after.

Engine: B+S 31p977-1066-e1 engine on craftsman riding mower

Re charged battery, checked for obstruction below (none). Gas full and new and flowing. Spark plug test shows spark. Checked and cleaned air filter (still newer) Checked valve clearance. Cranked and it spins halfway and nothing. Pull the spark plug and it spins but not when connected. Tried all above with and without fuel line attached. Also tried carb spray direct into intake and no difference.

Charging battery again as I drained some trying the above. Only thing I haven’t done is remove carb and clean of a fuel issue.

I know it’s fuel, spark, or air most the time. Aside from checking carb I feel like I’ve checked anything assuming it doesn’t start right up after a battery charge I’m out of ideas.

Question on tax owed for child's UTMA (multi year)

Preface: As someone who is fairly financially savvy I admit I dropped the ball here.

Opened UTMA in 2021, no gains over 1k for 2021 and net loss in 2022 so I lost track (also started mainly funding 529 instead around 2023).

2022- 4k losses

2023- 5.2k gains

2024- 5k gains

2025- 4k gains

So I need to file for all 4 years (4 returns). 22/23 washes due to carry over loss then for 24/25 I will have to pay 10% of 1300/1350 then my marginal tax rate on the remaining 2400 ('24) and 1300 ('25).

Since I already filed our personal returns those years I would need to do a 1040 and 8165 forms for each year? Paying isn't a problem just making sure I'm on the right track.
