5800x3d Relaunch - $350 makes ZERO sense.
For anyone looking to upgrade or build a new PC this makes zero sense in buying.
A 7500x3d or 7600x3d bundle from microcenter is a way better option.
The person on AM4 can just buy the bundle and swap over everything else for the same price and be on a newer platform that will be able to handle AM6 and possibly AM7.
The new PC builder ..... just makes more sense to build AM5 with a bundle.
The $350 5800x3d's only upside is that hopefully they all don't get snagged up by scalpers and the used market goes from $400-$500 down to $200-$300 for a used one.
Whoever is buying these things used for $400-$500 range is, not to say dumb, not making smart choices.
Even if microcenter is a 6hr drive, I would do it. Use it as a day or weekend to spend in another city.
