How do you pronounce "comparable"?
For the longest time (until today) I thought it was pronounced Compare-a-bull, but I was informed today that it's actually pronounced Comp-urr-a-bull.
Anyone else?

I've seen a lot of different views on this from Instagram, friends, and other people, but I was wondering if there is a "middle ground" or basis that I should try to adhere to? The past three times I've been noncommittal for the most part -- I accept them, I'll be using the new name/pronouns etc. But one time, I was told (by a mutual friend) that my reaction should have been more enthusiastic and more clearly accepting -- that a lack of emotion indicated indifference/IDC.
I mean, I am indifferent...but in a good way? Like there's really nothing to say, it's their identity and I'm grateful for telling me. I always thought that showing more than acknowledgment might make them uncomfortable.
Current student here. Thought I'd share these, just so some of you might be able to see what Cedar looks like. Obviously, I don't have pics of the other dorms, unfortunately because I didn't live in any other dorm (I'm choosing to forget GGV because that's what it deserves). I was in the left-half of a suite.
First pic: View from front door, showing two side closets, bathroom door, and left half of room.
Second pic: View from closets, showing room at large.
Third pic: View from bathroom door, showing sinks, door to other half of suite, and door to shower/toilet
Fourth pic: View from shower/toilet door, showing toilet and shower.
I can see it says “Advised front“ but I don’t know what the last word is. It might be “meters” but I don’t know what “Advised front meters” would mean…
