The Power of the 6th Pick
With the ranked season winding down I thought I show an example and/or reminder of just how important a 6th pick can really be.
This game, if I remember correctly, Chester was first pick, followed by teammates picking Crow and Janet, and then the enemy team picking Mortis and Bibi.
To me, it was no surprise that enemy team went super aggressive when my teammates picked 2 squishy brawlers.
To compensate with that I went with Bull as a 6th pick so I could (or at least try to) 1v2 the Mortis and Bibi while my teammates handle the Chester. Plus, Bull is great for resetting gem countdown, if needed.
In the end, it turned out being the right pick as able to hold my own with the help of the heal buffie gadget.
Overall, when given 6th pick it’s important to capitalize on it and make the most impact (don’t take it for granted).
And in the case where you might be outmatched skill-wise (see loading screen ranks) it can be the thing needed to bring the advantage to your side.
