Assume that the mode is Hot Zone because that is where these two almost always meet. Does Poco hard counter Lou?
What changed:
-First and foremost, the huge cooldown nerf from 15s to 20s, that sort of nerf to a getaway gadget cripples its effectiveness at keeping Brock alive.
-Smaller explosion in exchange for a second one when landing. I feel like this trade off evens out, neutral change in balance.
-The jump being aimable now is a downgrade for me. It wouldn't change anything if not for the fact that the autoaim targets the closest enemy instead of the direction Brock is facing, which forces you to aim the gadget, nerfing the reactivity of the gadget.
-Buffie effect: Short speed boost after hitting an enemy with an explosion, pretty mid effect, not 100% useless but it's far from making up for the nerfs.
Hopefully they'll revert the autoaim change and buff the cooldown a bit.
This is my first time doing nerfs in this meta.My previous attempts of balance changes concept have been really positive which I thank everyone for their participation.
These are nerfs on top of the official balance changes nerfs (The officials ones are also in it)

It is crucial to prevent the opponent from passing through key points by maintaining pressure on it!
I have absolutely no clue on how i can counter Nova. Tried Bull but she can disengage so easily with that turret gadget or Super, so he doesn't work. How?
I know the reson behind is to stop the upcoming brawlers like bolt to get ridiculous amout of speed. However, I'm sad about max not getting her full 70% speed with hyper she feels slow especially with the antigro meta + using your super when you have a respawning shield does not get u speed. Brawlers like ash that benefits from this mechanic with the speed gear + hyper to catch brawlers and alli too. The speed mechanic should not be nerfed like that since it's always been better to outrange brawlers than do your dodge skill even if you're goated with dodging anyway it's always been like that. Speed stacking mechanic bring more skill and fun to the game.
I would definitely recommend watching his video as he gives good reasoning for brawlers' placements
I recorded my entire push from legendary 1 to Legendary 2 and wrote down the rank of every teammate and opponent I got.
One thing really stood out:
Out of 32 games
I got only 2 Master teammates
Meanwhile, I faced Master opponents 19 different times. (3 of them masters II and above)
•I had 24 legendary III teammates
• And... faced 42 legendary III opponents
• I had 26 legendary II teammates
• and i faced 23 of them
• i played with 8 legendary I teammates
• and played against 12
And finally i had 4 mythic III teammates and I faced none
(they were playing with their higher ranked buddy
I'm not saying rank alone decides every match, I actually thought my randoms were decent before I started falling back to mythic
but it definitely felt strange seeing higher ranked players on the enemy team over and over while almost never getting one on my team even though i'm peak legendary I.
(I didn't record the losses after I fell back to mythic III)

We all doi it whitout realizing. You get so caught up in your own duel, aiming and dodging, that you completly forget the objectif ! (Even if here the poco is not all the time present)
PLEASE BUFF THEM TO WHAT THEY USED TO BE OR THEY WILL FOREVER BE IRRELEVANT IN THE META,
it’s very clear we won’t have the meta that was the reason they were good in anyways for a long time so just revert the nerfs they got or buff them

Eve – Hasn’t been buffed in forever. She got power crept by Najia, she’s way too niche, has drawbacks that most newer brawlers will never have, and her HP is miserable for such a slow-paced brawler. I get 2-tapped by everything.
Please just make her A tier. Idc what y’all gotta do gng 😂👌
Buffs I’d give her:
Projectile speed buffed moderately.
Unload speed buffed significantly.
Gadget cooldown: 17 → 15 seconds.
Super hatch time: 5**→ 3.5seconds.**
Movement speed: Normal → Fast.
HP: 6200 → 6600 or 6800.
Her pets also need:
Significantly more range.
Faster movement speed.
But nerf their HP and make the decay happen faster, like after 1-2 seconds. I don’t want her becoming some super merchant.
Put Unnatural Order into her base kit, then give her a new Star Power that works like Angelo’s water SP. She was literally the first brawler to walk on water, she deserves it.
Happy Surprise: Make the hatchling have the same HP and damage as a normal pet, but only if you land the smallest egg.
Her Hypercharge is honestly already pretty good, so I’d only do this:
HC pets no longer decay.
Slight HCR nerf.
Like I said, I don’t care what anyone says about these buffs. She’s the most forgotten brawler in the game, and this meta needs a COMPLETE reset.
She honestly needs a full rework.
Piper – Nerfing her gadget made sense like two years ago when every assassin didn’t have a jump, teleport, invisibility, or some other mobility tool. But now most close-range brawlers have two different ways to pressure you.
If they get in your face, you’re forced to use the gadget. Then they just use their second mobility ability. You use your super, and now they can literally walk you down because you already burned everything.
The knockback barely does anything anymore. You’re basically forced to only play her on super open maps. She has almost no versatility, and her varying damage honestly needs a rework specifically against assassins.
Her super range is too short, and it’s way too slow.
I like the recent damage buff—she actually feels good right now—but she’s still confined to only being good into one type of brawler.
Her whole kit just feels outdated.
I’d buff:
Super range.
Super flight speed.
Keep the gadget knockback the same, but make the slow last 1.5 seconds, and make it as strong as Frank’s buffie gadget was before the nerf.
Increase the SCR you get from close-range hits, but keep long-range SCR exactly the same.
To balance it:
Auto Aimer cooldown: 18 → 21 seconds.
I don’t want her getting the gadget every single time an assassin gets super.
She’s perfectly fine against other snipers. I just want her to have better tools into aggro.
Melodie – This is probably one of the dumbest balance changes ever.
Brawlers like Colette and Melodie rely so much on their supers… and we decided to nerf hers?
Then they just never touched her again.
Clearly the pros don’t play her.
Casuals don’t play her.
Maybe something’s wrong?
She’s probably the highest-skill assassin in the game. Prove me wrong.
Maybe that nerf was acceptable back then, but now every brawler does insane damage so quickly, and her biggest strength was having crazy mobility. I honestly don’t know why she still needs that nerf.
Even if you reverted it, she still wouldn’t be touching A tier in this meta.
I could make 10 more points about this brawler, but y’all get it.
And even in Heist… 8-Bit and Colt exist. Why would you pick the brawler that’s basically a suicide bomb instead of the ranged option? And even when comparing suicide bombs, she still isn’t the best one.
Buffs I’d give her because I want her to stay good without needing buffies:
HP: 7600 → 8200. If Fang can become good with an HP buff, why can’t she?
Shield Gadget: 2160 → 3000. Maybe that’s too high, but if so, nerf how much shield her HC notes give instead.
SCR: 5 hits → 4 hits, or rework the HC notes so they deal 700 damage each. Depends if you want her to be a Hypercharge merchant or a super merchant.
Increase her main attack range by 1 tile, or buff the projectile speed.
Movement speed: Very Fast.
I don’t even wanna touch her Star Powers. I just want her to be decent in neutral.
Juju – Mechanically, she honestly has the perfect kit.
Her HCR should get buffed back closer to where it was. Yeah, it was really good in pro play and kinda broken, but keep in mind that was before:
Universal Hypercharge nerfs.
Buffies.
Everyone getting more HP.
Half the roster getting rushdown abilities.
She’s still around B tier.
The biggest issue is she almost never gets value from her water attack because of the current map pool. Against decent players, you’re getting Hypercharge way too late.
I do like that they buffed her pet though, because everything deletes it in like two seconds.
They could either:
Option 1:
Give back the 50% shield, but tone it down to 40%.
Or buff her HP by around 400.
Give her a small HCR buff.
Buff base Gris-Gris by making him faster and maybe giving him a little more HP.
Keep the Hypercharge pet stats the same, or even nerf them a little.
Option 2:
Make her stronger in a more passive way.
Buff the projectile speed of her grass attack because that thing is impossible to land half the time.
Increase the SCR from grass attacks.
She’s still kinda oppressive though, so I’d keep the buffs light. Throwers are annoying enough when they’re meta.
She’s still playable in basically every mode, so I’m not too mad.
Draco
Revert every nerf except the Hypercharge nerfs.
Also buff his dragon’s range.
Only more and more rushdown, fast paced insane damage stuff is getting added. These brawlers deserve buffs to keep up.
Any more brawlers I missed that are victims to this?
Oh shit Janet and Stu, but he randomly gets good from time to time, but rn he’s rlly good.
All I would do to Janet is Buff her dmg 2000 to 2200, make it faster to focus, buff movement speed by one tier and make it 6 to 8 hc rockets because the Universal HC nerf hurt her a lot.
Buff Stu’s HCR a little and he’s good.
He was manageable before but ever since the buffies he's been destroying me. Any tips/brawlers to help me counter him?
Before yall ask, YES i just lost 4 times in a row against a colette because of this stupid buffied Starpower. It seems hard enough to dodge her fast main attack, then its only 5 hits she needs to have her Super and BOOM, you are dead.
If you arent griff with his Hypercharge, i have no idea how you want to conter this. With her hypercharge this is just an overkill.
I see people complaining about her first Buffied-Gadget and i understand it, also completly overpowered. But please, talk more about this goddamn starpower. I will probably have uncomfortable opinions here, but lets see.
Looking for what I see now is every 2 months when a new batch of buffies and new brawlers released everyone talking like "this meta is the worst" and something like that,it had me curious about what was the "healthiest" meta that a little to no one complained about,I think this is before hypercharges even got released,so enlighten these healthy metas
They removed the ability for her attacks to scale with power buffs. This is just stupid. I used to love the days when I was using Bea, and I could just slow Alli to oblivion so that she wouldn't be able to attack me. I used to love using the Alli + Jae Yong combo where Jae Yong would hit where Alli wanted to go, and Alli would dash there. I even had this cool star power buffie concept where her reload speed would also scale with speed. Sadly, this can't happen anymore. What was the point of this nerf anyway? Alli's one of the most high-skill assassins and brawlers in the game; her mechanics are just really unique. (I can make another post explaining why if you want.) She wasn't even that broken, and this speed thing didn't even contribute that much; it just made her more fun. Adrian genuinely shut the hell up.
I haven't played much Meg recently until her buffies came out so I'm a bit confused at not her not gaining the temporary shield. Was this changed this update or has been gone for ages and I just never noticed?
