You enter a subreddit for hating. you are allowed to disagree with the hate. but from anyones deduction you can safely arrive at a conclusion that someone is an obnoxious fuck when they complain about the hate itself being fucking hateful.

1. the Aesthetics.

the blue and white directly matches the flag of israel, 🇮🇱 a common aesthetic to point out is that they have blonde hair which is something alot of israeli’s have in common. the star title and the star design also implies the star of david and its reverance on the israeli flag, “nova” also stands as a sacred thing to do with the birth of israel, the title and clothing heavily implies that Star Nova is proud of her israeli heritage and background and thus chooses to express it in her love for the Star Nova. novas also geopolitically mirror the re establishment of israel in the 1940’s. this makes me think the developers of brawl stars gave us another middle eastern character for more diversity and background, like najia.

2. her mechanics and functions.

alot of her moves reference israeli-context things, the floaty gadget for example is something used as interception, similar to the *iron dome,* which acts in the same way the floaty time works. as an interception in the same progress and mechanics. the iron attempts to limit ground based attacks which the floaty time does, this is a direct reference between the IDF iron dome and a star nova gadget.

she comes in two forms, which as of reading this part, you might think what does that have to do with being israeli? well after research, i believe it is a reference to the dual stage of israeli citizens, as many of them apply to the IDF. she shifts from a form where shes more vulnerable and hesistant (the base form.) to a form where shes armed and more vigilant, this is going from a civilian form to a soldier form, this is star nova going from civilian to IDF, this is a direct mirror and the best analogical proof to support this theory.

CONCLUSION

i believe this amount of coincidence is too much thus unfair to dismiss as arbitrary and just a coincidence, lore wise there is alot of things that point to her being from israel, thought i am thankful to supercell for giving us more diversity and background on characters from other regions like the middle east, i find this heart warming

in my opinion, i think balancing wont ever help brawlers like bolt, or star nova, simply because we have seen all balancing attempts still end up in the path that they are insanely broken and that is due to their game design inherently resulting in the fact that they are broken, i dont think balancing brawlers with buffs or nerfs will ever solve the irreversible power creep this game has.

instead supercell should restrict certain brawlers that are impossible to balance from ranked permanently, or simply for the duration of a entire season if some deem that harsh, but for both options, multiple games have done that, (mobile legends if ur not familiar with pc games have banned characters permanently or for a season from competitive.) and they have made alot of positive feedback from it.
