The hate that underground music and especially underground rap gets
I hate the slander underground music gets and the people that use popular underground artists as an example of "rap being dead." just because u don't like the music
Does not mean it's bad
Even if it is "bad" (like 2sliney, percatric, etc.) doesn't mean it's not still art and the people that use slander underground mainly talk about the bigger names che, osamason, and nettspend which in of itself I think is stupid because it's nothing outlandish and it's art at the end of the day the type of music they make is similar to like simple abstract art and yeah there are people that hate abstract art there's not nearly as much hate for that as there is for underground rap. Now to the people that say "oh, rap is dead" or "there's no good rappers anymore" there so wrong yeah in the mainstream there are not as many artists that are still in there prime like ye, lil Uzi, carti, Travis but that's also because there like 30-40 and these people aren't actually looking for artists even if u don't like rage music there's still so many artists that are unknown that have a lot of lyrical talent, but because it's not being spoonfed to these people they don't try to look for it which also somewhat implies that u don't care about the art or the art form of rap. And finally to the people that think just because people listen to underground rap or rage music or shit like that, that doesn't have a lot of lyrical talent that there just fucking.5 GPA students and neanderthals then ur part of the problem I'm in highschool in all honors and 2 AP classes and I mainly listen to underground rap and while yes I may be an outlier even still most people that listen to the underground aren't completely stupid most of them are at least at n avg IQ so no just because u listen to fucking Kendrick and old ye doesn't mean ur some profound person, that's all.
