Looking for a female mentor in data or product field!!

heyy guys!! not sure if this would be the correct place to post this, but I (22F) am looking to connect with women in tech who have experience working in data or product.

I am an MSc Bioinformatics graduate from the University of Bristol, looking to transition into tech industry in London with a long-term goal of working in product. As a newbie, I have some data projects and volunteer experience under my belt, but I'm finding it hard to gauge where my skills sit in relation to what the market actually expects. Every time I come across a woman who has built a career in data or product, I feel so inspired. Like, you did it! And I want to do it too.

I would be SO grateful to connect with anyone here who would be open to even a 15-minute chat about their journey. How did you get started? How did you build your network? What do you wish you'd known earlier?

I'm not looking for job leads or anything like that — just genuine conversation and maybe a little guidance from someone who's been where I am. And if not, even advice on how I can network to find mentors in this field would be amazing 🙏

If you've made it this far, thank you for reading, and if you're open to chatting, please drop a comment or DM me. It would genuinely make my day! 🌸
