Physical Reactions
I am usually quite a tough guy. I never cry or generally show a lot of emotion. Some people find that weird, because I didn't even do so on a funeral of a beloved family member...
But there is something that can overwhelm me in a way that nothing else can apparantly and that's the sound of those 4 guys.
Was sitting in the train today, turning on Dark Side (I always listen to it as a whole). When the transition from "Speak to me" to "Breathe" occurs I am in some kind of tunnel and there is nothing I can do to stop my body from physically reacting in a way I would wanna avoid in public. Couldn't stop tears running when Clare starts singing. Neither could I after the chorus in "Us and Them". It feels like such an emotional release after all that build-up tension. Same when "Eclipse" sets in in the end.
I do not know what it is about it, but there is literally *nothing* else in the world that overwhelms me emotionally in a way I can't control it.
I am actually so grateful.
