So I am sitting on an idea for about a month, begging my friends to help me build my app, but they suk arsee. So, here I am.

I am trying to build a platform for tier 2, tier 3 (prob tier 1, but at a later stage) cities in India. It's a service-based app, which will compete with the likes of UC and Snabbit.

The idea is pretty simple, and I will do all the legwork, partnership building, service provider onboarding, marketing, and so on. But I need really good 1-2 partners to take care of the tech.

I am not in a rush. This is not something that can be built and tested in a few months like a vibe-coded platform. This is going to be a marathon. The first 6 months will just be about onboarding and building relationships with service providers. Who knows, it may take even more. But that doesn't matter. It is a sure-shot market gap, I know that 100%. It is just that I need someone who believes in the idea and has the patience to build something from scratch.

What would make you a good fit:

1. You are really good at what you do. You can handle both iOS and Android app building. If not both, then at least Android to start with.
2. You are not a vibe-coder
3. You already have a job because I do, and I am pretty sure we won't earn enough or anything for that matter, at least for the first 8-9 months, maybe more. The first month will give us a glimpse of the future.
4. I like the job that I have and enjoy doing it. I will spend my late-evenings and my weekends building relationships, and I expect you to be a genuine partner to do the same with your time.
5. Patience. You have a lot of it. And that comes with experience. Better if you have kids, because kids bring love and responsibility and keep us serious about how we spend our time. That's just my bias.
6. Honesty. I mean, we are going to spend valuable time on this, which we could spend elsewhere, like family, friends, kids, and whatnot. But we do this because we want to do something better with our lives.
7. Vibe-match while contrary. Someone I can fight with without worrying about the consequences, and once the fight is over, I can get back to work with him.
8. Meet once every month if possible, worst case, once every 3 months.
9. Small townie will be a huge plus. I am from a remote town/ village who grew up in a major city. If you are from a small town, you will understand the problems that I am trying to tackle.
10. Small steps to giant leaps. Prefer someone who likes to take small steps and prepares for the giant leap, instead of the other way around.

Additional note: I have all the responsibilities of the world. Kids, parents, EMIs, you name it, and I have it. I like to help and that's why I don't shy away from taking help. Otherwise, ther eis no way for people like us to go ahead and break the circle. IF you know what I mean, you will be a perfect fit.
