So glad I kept my Squier Vintage Modified 1960s Jazz Bass

So glad I kept my Squier Vintage Modified 1960s Jazz Bass

I just wanted to share this. I'm a classical pianist, bass is my second instrument, and I go through phases when I play one instrument more often than the other, which is normal, I think. Some years ago I was extremely short of money and so I sold most of my bass equipment. I only kept my Squier Vintage Modified 1960s Jazz Bass and my humble Fender Rumble 15. About two months ago, I started playing again, also because I'd been asked to play with a band in June. So I bought a Rumble 500 and a Squier Classic Vibe 1970s P-Bass, which is great. However, I can't overstate how glad I am that I kept the Jazz Bass. It feels, plays, and sounds so good, especially through the Rumble 500. I can't wait to play with that band next month.

I don't mean the 1960 Yamaha U3 upright in the background (fully restored), but the Squier Classic Vibe 1970s Precision Bass and the Fender Rumble 500. Happy New Bass & Amp Day to me 😊
