2 months quit 400 mg OH daily
Hi all just thought I would quickly share my experience quitting 400mg oh daily. I had been looking at this sub for a long time trying multiple ways to quit or taper nothing was working for me. I was starting to believe I was going to be hooked for life. I ended up losing my job from poor judgement I attribute to being high on OH. After getting fired I decided to medical detox at home. I ended up giving myself precipitated withdrawal 12 hours into my last dose forcing me to relapse. I waited another week before admitting myself into detox where they put me on Subutex then tapered me off and sent me home after five days. The detox staff said I wouldn’t have withdrawals from Subutex. I thought “hey that wasn’t too bad” two days later the withdrawals hit. I was absolutely miserable for the first week then slightly better every day until I got back to pre OH levels of anxiety a month later. Fortunately I have not suffered from cravings. I hope you all get well. If I can do it anyone can.
