2017 F150 2.7 Ecoboost smoke on cold start
Hey all, I’ve got an F150 I bought last November with about 86k miles
Everything has been fine until it sat for about a week, now I see a bit of smoke on a cold start (after sitting about 24hr). The smoke only lasts about 2-3 seconds then it’s gone
if it also means anything, when idling I will sit at about 700 rpm, drop to 500 for a second or two, then go back up
Other than sitting for a week, the only “change up” was the last oil change (about a month ago) I used restore and protect valvoline oil as well as the fuel additive in the gas tank, which to my knowledge had never been done, so could it be that stuff burning off?
My commute is also very short (3 miles) so it’s no like it’s been getting driven hard since that oil change and additive
I took it to my mechanic and he couldn’t find anything, he said it might be the valve seals but he said he didn’t open it up to check because their shop doesn’t do that I guess
