[TOMT] help me find a storytime series about cooking for a cheating husband!!
Sooo I’ve been trying to find this storytime for ages, and after searching everywhere and everything I’m starting to think it might be lost or deleted, but I'm using reddit as a last resort hoping someone else remembers it.
Back in 2020-2022, I remember stumbling across a storytime compilation on youtube and it featured a woman cooking different meals in each episode while narrating a first-person story over it. The narration made it feel like it was her real life as she was narrating in first person, but it also had a very scripted/fictional soap-opera kind of feel. The main storyline was about her husband cheating on her and her cooking different meals for him. She kept referring to the other woman (the mistress) with a nickname that sounded like “flimsy mistress” (or something very similar i don't exactly remember).
As the series went on, the story got more dramatic and expanded into a long multi-part series. Later in the story I think likely after divorcing her husband, she meets another man who is a police officer and they get into a relationship, but then she discovers he is hiding something from her and she leaves him. After that, I remember her moving abroad or travelling to another country and the story continued from there. The videos usually had cooking footage in the background while she narrated everything in a real female voice.
I’m not 100% sure if it was originally a TikTok storytime or if it was just reposted there, but I watched it on YouTube during that COVID-era storytime trend.
