Do you think having real time tracking for every single bus would actually stop the rash driving by removing the pressure to reach the next stop first? Or is the issue deeper than just timing?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the bus race we see on our roads every day. We all know that stressful feeling - the bus accelerating and braking aggressively just to beat the one behind it to the next stop.

We often hear that technology is the answer - if we had universal real-time tracking, would that kill the rush? If every bus’s location and capacity were transparent, would the pressure to compete for passengers vanish? Or is the issue deeper than just knowing when the bus will arrive?
