Hello, late last week my friend did my helix and we used a 14 gauge needle. So far there’s not really any swelling or any issues, just a bit sore to the touch. I clean it twice a day with saline solution and don’t sleep on that side. Was 14 gauge too thick? I’m worried it’s going to look large on my ear when it heals. I want to get a second helix right under the first one later on, should I go for the same gauge or should I do a smaller gauge for the next one?
