My first luxury purchase!
Long time lurker here! I’ve always admired luxury handbags since my teenage years but thought it was something I could never own. But now at 32, I finally decided to bite the bullet and picked up a preowned Celine classic Triomphe in textile and tan calfskin during a recent trip to Japan.
Japan is a luxury bag heaven and Chanel, Hermès, and LV are everywhere. But I’ve always been attracted to brands like Celine and Loewe for their “quiet luxury” vibe and distinct designs.
I saw a lot of the shiny black calfskin Triomphes while walking around, but somehow they just didn’t speak to me. Then I saw the white and tan combo in a random shop display and couldn't take my eyes off it! I know textile isn't the popular choice compared to full leather, but I decided to prioritise what brings me joy 🤩
So happy to finally be a part of the club!
