Best low-latency controller with a good D-pad for PC platformers under $60?
I’m looking for a controller mainly for PC, with Switch support as a bonus. My budget is around $50-60 USD, I’m in the US, and I’ll probably be buying through AliExpress.
I mostly play 2D platformers like Celeste, Hollow Knight, and Mario, so D-pad quality and low latency are my top priorities. Rumble and gyro would be nice extras but aren’t required.
I’ve been comparing the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C, GameSir Cyclone 2, and GameSir T3 Lite. The Ultimate 2C seems great for latency but gets mixed feedback on the D-pad. The Cyclone 2 looks solid overall, though I’m unsure how well its D-pad works for precise platforming. The T3 Lite also seems decent but being wired is a downside.
For anyone who has used these, how do they perform for platformers? Are there any other controllers in this price range that I should be considering?
