RTX 3080 10GB + 1060 3GB experience.

RTX 3080 x16 4.0

1060 3GB x4 3.0

i9 13900KF + 32 Gb RAM

Monitor: FHD 240 Hz

In the first picture, it gives perfect fps even with this weak VGA without using LSFG. (CS2 game)

Second picture: BF6 without LSFG.

Third picture: BF6 with LSFG.

In my experience, the 1060 VGA, which is a very cheap product, serves the 3080 perfectly.

Maximum real image using LSFG can be 150-160 FPS in x2 mode with the 1060, i.e. 300-320 generated images.

Dual GPU question.

I have a MAIN VGA RTX 3080 . I put a 1060 3GB next to it, this VGA can go up to 190 fps without LS, with LS 118 real fps in x2 mode.

A 6500XT would be enough or as I looked at the list the next step is a 3060 but that's double the price.

What do you think?

My Dual GPU Experience. 2 x RTX 3080

Unfortunately, my motherboard can only drive the second GPU PCIE 4x 3.0, but it still performs quite well.

My settings:

240 Hz FHD

Gsync ON

In game fps limit 118

Reflex ON

LSFG: x2 fixed

Queue target 0

Max frame latency 1

I used it with 1 GPU for a very long time, the biggest change compared to 2 GPUs is that the base fps is much higher. But I still lose some if I turn on LSFG.

I made 240 FPS recordings for Battlefield 6 with my phone, I looked at the time between mouse click and shot with AI.

The real frame rate was more the determining factor in latency than turning on LSFG itself. LSFG adds a 5 ms delay to the above setting. But with 1 GPU that counts real and unreal images, you lose a lot of real FPS. And this is what causes much higher latency.

At 60 fps limit + LSFG it was about 50-55 ms between mouse click and shot

Unlimited 2 GPU at 100 real fps about 35 ms with LSFG.

Without LSFG about 30 ms.

Latency measurement with AI. Single, Dual, Native.

I made a small latency measurement, there are 2 RTX 3080 in the machine. I recorded the mouse movement and the character movement on the monitor with a phone at 240 fps. The margin of error can be 4 ms in this case. I told the AI to count the number of frames elapsed between the two movements. Based on measurements found online, using the second GPU adds +3 ms.

Gsync off

Vsync off

Raflex ON

Queue target 0

Unlimited fps (Single GPU rear fps 70-80, Dual GPU 110-120 fps )

x2

Battlefield 6 summary based on your videos so far

Configuration Estimated latency

(Secund slot) Native ~36–38 ms

(Secund slot) BF6 built-in Frame Generation ~38–42 ms

Dual GPU + LSFG ~42 ms

(Secund slot) Single GPU + LSFG ~46–50 ms
