One thing I never got was Giyu said he’d participate in Hashira training after he lost to tanjiros noodle challenge. But we never see him “participate” other than train with sanemi. Was there ever a reason why he didn’t train the fodder slayers or like wassup.

Sanemi fought a stronger demon albeit with a stronger team
Giyu carried 70% of the Akaza fight while retaining injuries a little less severe than sanemi imo.
From my understanding of the material Giyu and Sanemi are similar but sanemi holds the edge.
