In need of an upgrade to Sony WH-1000XM4
Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 and Px7 S3. I've read a number of lengthy reviews and threads related to the two as to build up an opinion however I'm struggling to make up my mind as the views on each vary greatly. As far as I understand either option is perceived to be an upgrade to XM4 by most. Px8 S2 caught my attention due to the design and Px7 S3 because of its affordability. I care about longevity, so if I were to spend extra I'd like for it to be worthwhile. Differences in sound quality will also influence the decision I come to. It seemed quite mixed, some expressed how it's a night and day difference whereas others insist it's unnoticeable after equaliser tweaking using Px7 S3.
Additionally I plan on using wired over bluetooth. Comfort is somewhat essential too as I often wear headphones for long periods of time throughout each day. If I'm looking in the wrong place and should consider other headphones, I'm open to suggestions.
