Hello folks,
By a stroke of luck (because what else would I call this new discovery?), I’ve recently found myself obsessed with thrifting. Sometimes I visit two or three shops in a single day - like I said, I’m obsessed! However, so far, I’ve managed to only buy exactly what I need, so maybe I'm not that obsessed.
I’m currently in the process of setting up my apartment, so I’ve really enjoyed hunting for cool, sometimes unique pieces for my home. It’s been a thrilling experience, and finding great items at good prices (wow, amazing! Shout out to everyone donating) has really lightened my mood and made the whole process much more exciting.
Anyway, I’m putting this out there to see if there are any fellow enthusiasts who would be down to go on a thrift store run. I’d love to go this weekend, or whenever works for you. We can go anywhere accessible by public transport (I don't have a car at the moment). We could bike, too, though I wonder how we’d carry our heavy "prized possessions" home!
BTW, so far, i had the best shopping experience at Kringloop Den Haag "Oude Haagweg". 10/10 for customer service and stock.
I also attached some of my most prized findings. Others I still need to pick up. Last slide, I got home and the mug cracked while washing so I've learned a new lesson while mug shopping to not focus on the outside but actually look inside for tiny crack marks.
