While washing my (20F, white) boyfriend's (22M, Filipino) hair, I noticed that it had curl texture when previously he had believed it to be completely straight.

I've been treating it as wavy hair since it can hold a curl and curls on its own but I don't have the slightest clue on how to wash curly hair!!

I wash it for him because I love him and view it as a sign of intimacy. I'm not sure what products that are good for curly or wavy hair or what routines to do, please give advice.

(Also his hair is really thick? If that's important. He's also disabled so it's easier if I help because of that too. Thank you!)
