We are visiting Wells/Ogunquif, leaving 7/3. Visitors are sparse. Restaurants that usually gave long wait times have plenty of tables available. Almost all hotels, motels and resorts have vacancies. We’ve been here 2 days and I haven’t seen one Canadian license plate. I asked one of our travel companions for an opinion and they said between WC FIFA and the America 250, a lot of folks are opting for soccer matches or larger events related to 250th anniversary. Any ideas why visitors are sparse? The small business owners are taking a huge hit.
