DWR 2X points with Rakuten, but payment is done through Salesforce website, not DWR official website, will I get the points?

The sales person says that as long as I have my credit card linked in Rakuten (which I do) I should be getting the points.

When I go to the official DWR website I see the extension activate the 2X points, but on this payment portal the 2X popup doesn't appear anywhere.

Has anybody confirmed if paying for DWR furniture through their Salesforce payment website works?

I don't want to miss on 12,000+ points.

Also: I don't know why it says 2X points but also Cash back.

Moved into new apartment, closet is a mess, I have some ideas to improve it but need your opinion.

I just moved into a new apartment (private landlord, so okay with some modifications) and the closet it's just a basic Open House HD18 plastic box, there's a bunch of ethernet cables inside of it and outside of it too, as well as some coax cable switch and other random cables (I believe Sonos audio system for the whole house).

I'm not a networking guy, I'm more of a web developer but I have an idea of how to deal with cables, switches and so on, and a little bit of handyman, not afraid to make holes in walls, etc.

All these ethernet cables are Cat5e and were terribly labeled, I bought a tone probe and I was able to match them to their proper endings in the living room/bedrooms. You can see all the blue tape at my attempt of labeling them.

Most of the stuff on the left of the photo (shelves) is mine, minus the Sonos audio system, so you can ignore that as I'm been placing things there in the meantime.

My plan is the following, please tell me where I'm wrong or what could be done better:

  • Buy an enclosure, I researched a bit and some results say Legrand On-Q 42. There's a concrete behind the wall, so the depth from drywall to concrete is 5 inches. Width seems to fit in the current space, On-Q 42 could be narrower by a bit
  • All the cables by the floor I would move them inside the wall and into the new enclosure, should I shorten the ethernet cables?
  • Buy a Unify Cloud Gateway Fiber and Flex 2.5G PoE switch and mount them inside enclosure
  • Buy a patch panel and connect all the eth cables there instead? I'm not super familiar with this concept but that's what I read online
  • Once the Gateway and Switch are in place, I'll buy a couple of U7 Pros for the living room and bedroom. The wall behind the current box is concrete and is killing the reach of my current router.

I don't know how feasible is this place or if it makes sense. Do I need to cut part of the drywall to fit the new On-Q 42 enclosure? Or can it be installed over the drywall, but then a big hole will be behind it.

Or should I get a smaller enclosure and mount gateway/switch directly on the wall?

How would you approach this?

Thank you in advance.

Edit: this is a private landlord, I don't think he would be opposed to improving this closet, that's why I have to come up with a plan. All these cables are an eye sore that needs to be put away.
