Bluetooth adaptor recommendations

I use an HHKB Pro Hybrid Type-S. I want to use it wirelessly, but my desktop PC does not have Bluetooth built in, so I need a USB Bluetooth adaptor.

I have been using a no-name Bluetooth 5.4 adaptor. (It has a long plastic antenna which is mostly fake: the real antenna only goes a short way up). It works okay but sometimes stops working and I have to unplug and replug it, then wait for the keyboard to reconnect.

I also tried a combined Bluetooth and WiFi adaptor. That was okay for BT only but if using WiFi at the same time, keystrokes suffer terrible latency.

Today I bought a UGREEN Bluetooth 6 adaptor. I imagine my HHKB does not support BT6 (it was made in 2021) but the adaptor should support the older standard. However, it has been very unreliable. Every few minutes the keyboard stops responding, or a single keypress gets repeated many times (I guess the key-down event was sent but the key-up was lost).

I work in an office with lots of other Bluetooth-capable devices. Perhaps that is a more challenging environment. Can anyone recommend a USB to Bluetooth adaptor that’s known to work reliably with the HHKB?

Simple way for MIDI recording and playback

I recently upgraded to a Nord Grand 2 (with monitors) from a Casio digital piano. One feature I miss is a button to record and play back. Of course I could record the analogue audio output and feed it back into the line-in, but that would involve some loss of quality, and use a relatively large amount of storage for the audio file.

Instead I would like to record the keypress events using MIDI, then replay them. That would also let me listen to the same performance with different instruments.

Of course all this is completely possible. There are lots of programs to record MIDI on the computer and then use the Nord as a piano module to listen to them. My question is for a simple way to do it, without a full PC with screen, keyboard, and USB cable. Ideally I would like a small USB dongle plugged into the back of the Nord with one button to record and one to play back. Does such a gizmo exist?

Stickers for front of keycaps (Page Up, etc)

I've replaced the keycaps on my HHKB with URSA keycaps. They look great but they don't have the legends on the front for modifier keys, showing the arrows, Page Up, Home and so on.

I remember a few years back I bought a sheet of self-adhesive stickers, with bright blue text on a clear plastic background. You can stick them onto the front of ordinary keycaps to show the HHKB modifier layout. I think they came from Czechia, or some other central European country. (I didn't use all of the stickers so I think they were not HHKB specific.)

Does anyone know whether a similar product is still sold?

USB 3 Superspeed with Nord Grand 2

Uploading samples with the Nord Sound Manager to the Nord Grand 2 is slow. Windows shows that the instrument is connected using USB 2, not the faster USB 3 or later. My question is whether the Nord Grand 2 supports USB 3. If it does, then the problem must be with my PC or the cable. If USB 2 is as much as the instrument manages, I need not spend more time troubleshooting. Thanks.

Cycle lane entirely blocked by coaches

Today at the junction of Regent’s Park Road with Haverstock Hill. About eight coaches were parked in the cycle lane, and a couple of others stopped in the road. Any idea what was going on and if I should report it?
