I am so sick of Throgg
Every time I play Empire he takes the entire North, and the late game is nothing but stack after stack of insanely resilient monstrous infantry and monsters(special Middenland finger up at you, chimeras).
Also, in theory I get why the raider faction gets lightning strike, but good lord, never has a faction needed it less.
And my God! The monster Waagh!
I haven't had many encounters with some of the DLC factions that people complain about, but of the forces I run into, Norsca feels by far the most overtuned.
I even enjoy fighting a few of their really brutal armies, because the Empire absolutely has answers, but the sheer number of them is exhausting. Just once I'd like to fight off the Norscan invasion and then actually have to deal with the WoC.
I WILL grant that they're fun to play as, did a Sayle campaign recently and ran through every obstacle like it was tissue paper. You really feel like the tide of Chaos.
Anyway, this is mostly just a rant as I watch him suck the fun out of my near-perfect Franz run with his endless barbarian tide. Fuck Throgg.
