So my dad filed for Ihss benefits March 10 and we have turned in all the paperwork, including the one from his doctor before the social worker even called us to set up an appointment. She then said the appointment would be May 11. She came evaluated my dad and then left but told me to call payroll right away to put my provider number on his case. So I called and they proceeded to tell me that his case status was still pending and I would have to wait for that to go away in order to add myself as a provider spell a little over two weeks and it’s still pending. It’s getting frustrating because I left a voicemail for the social worker asking how long she thinks it was going to take because the people on payroll said it should only take a couple days to upload his information. I would like to get this going because they still need to mail my dad his yellow form that we then have to turn in before we can even start to get retroactive timesheets. Does anyone know how long this part usually takes? I’m also the provider to another recipient, but it did not take this long to get the paperwork squared away.
