first time watcher of RHOA and i just started season 16. what is going on with kelli’s face?!? im kind of….cringing….every time i see her. i’m sure she was beautiful before she had the work done and im not shaming getting work done but to such an excessive amount is sad
I never watched it in real time and checked it out a few months ago. I was actually appalled and stunned by what I saw. It was genuinely such a mess of a show. At times it was extremely boring and other times extremely toxic, dark, and volatile.
I watched it after her cousin Londie passed away and almost cried by the way Porsha has treated her. She is so evil towards her family and the dynamic is just so bad. Seems like her dads side absolutely despises her and her moms side is —sorry to say— bat shit crazy. Her mom was like laying in bed high on drugs recovering from plastic surgeries the whole time.
The entire show became about her and Dennis’ rancid drama and that fight in Mexico was insane! Porsha’s looked like she blacked out and was losing it on everyone. Punching producers, throwing glass everywhere. She grabbed the boom mic and was swinging it at people. She had to be physically restrained by several people. And then the next day she didn’t allow anyone in her family to speak about it and the producers got PISSED and stopped filming for the day.
But then here she comes a few years later with a huge deal with NBC universal. How did she get that after that show?? I’m so confused.
I feel like the RHOA divas have been shafted over the years in terms of amount of actually posh trips compared to other franchises.
A true housewives trip needs to be international and/or take more than a three-hour flight to reach. (I’m just making up the amount of hours, but c’mon.) A 2-hour flight to Dallas only to arrive at a poorly decorated house with bedrooms I wouldn’t want to stay in does not a housewives trip make.
Our girls better go international this season and I want them in top-notch quarters!! The RHONY/Beverly Hills girls wouldn’t stand for this!

Rewatching rhoa, it honestly feels like nene liked Cynthia most when Cynthia was quieter, more agreeable, and willing to follow her lead socially. The second Cynthia became more confident in her own opinions and friendships, the dynamic started getting weird. I do think they genuinely loved each other at one point, but there was always an imbalance there that eventually blew up.
Cynthia definitely tolerated way more from nene than she would’ve from anybody else in that group, and I don’t think people talk about that enough.
And before y’all jump me because I know how this sub feels about nene😭I like her too, I just always felt like their friendship was uneven.
I’m really enjoying Cynthia in her matriarch role. Honestly, she’s the last OG I would have ever imagined stepping up to that role. I was never a fan of her being the people pleaser who was constantly kissing Nene’s 🍑 in her first several seasons and the concerted effort she made to be a mean girl on seasons 7 and 8. I feel like we’re finally getting the real Cynthia, who’s laid back, wise, caring, nurturing, but still not afraid to check someone when needed.

Am I the only one enjoying this season. No high stake drama. Yes K- Michelle is annoying but I like having to watch someone delusional and annoying. Porsha is fun with her dumb drama. Love Angela and we need Phaedras weirdness and fun comments. Yes Pinky and Shamea and Kelli are a bit irritating but you need to be a bit annoyed, like the way I am annoyed at Sutton, Ashley or Melania from BH, P and NJ.
