Fears of posting anything other than fanart online
This is my first post here but I figured this subreddit would be a good place to ask this question/ seek out encouragement.
As of late last year I started my first TikTok account to share my TADC fanart, not really expecting much, really just wanting anyone more than just myself to see it. I've been casually posting the things I work on here and there although its all stayed TADC fanart or fan animations, however I'm finding that I'm getting a bit tired of drawing the same things.
I want to keep drawing and have been playing with the idea of doing OC content or drawing for other fandoms, but for some reason I'm scared to do so. When I started the account I did so just to get my art out, but now I feel like I care more about getting likes and views than I do just making passion projects and practicing my art. Like everything I make has to be postable.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get over this hurdle. Should I just make a new account, should I stop posting and just draw for myself only, etc.
