I’m a experienced SoC power/signoff engineer open to remote consulting and outsourced engineering work.

I’ve worked on PrimePower validation, delay shifting, waveform based power analysis, thermal mapping, distributed regressions, and scalable EDA automation/tooling workflows.

I’ve also supported teams working with NVIDIA, Samsung, Arm, Meta, and STMicroelectronics.

Strongest areas are:

SoC power estimation/signoff workflows
Python/C++ automation
regression infrastructure
analytics/debug tooling
scalable methodology engineering

If any startups or semiconductor teams need help with EDA tooling, automation, power analysis, or signoff related workflows, feel free to DM me.

Did anyone build a EDA tool?

I used to work in a large EDA company. I was wondering if anyone here has attempted to build EDA tools? If so what tool did you build and how hard was it? How long did it take?

I’m thinking about building a tool myself. Maybe open source it.
