Accidential Mr. Bean

At a friends pre-wedding dinner today. Didnt make the Mr. Bean connection until somebidy mentioned it :D

Regarding the outfit, I went with more sturdy boots due to Bad weather a bit of a walk to the location.

Personally not 100% happy with jacket and tie length but that's something I always struggle with as a 6'8 dude.

Im mostly happy with achieving a look that is "normally" proportioned.

It's not the face, it's the eyes

First of all, I find the discussion about the looks of the game a bit overblown and i just find it fun to talk about stuff like that. It's not that dramatic.

Anyway, I still agree with those who think the in-game Logan Model without mask looks a bit too "soft". Specifically, I'm pretty, sure it's due to his eyes. I think this is due to animators often making eyes just a little bit bigger for a more pronounced emotional range. The problem is that "rugged" characters really dont ebenfit from this as it makes the face appear younger overall. Indiana Jones had the same issue imo. The weird thing is that Liam McIntyre has a way more "rugged" look in real life than the in-game model, which infidn a it funny as you'd think for a character like wolverine they turn up the roughness if anything. To illustrate what I mean, picture 1 is from the game, 2 is the face model and 3 is the game again with the eyes scaled to the acruwl proportions of the real person.

New DB Suit

So, this was a journey. I am 6'7 with a generally lean build but slightly wider hips, so it's very difficult to find suits that fit at all and also look flattering on top. I also have a big soft spot for 30s/40s adjacent double breasted suits. I was never able to find anything remotely fitting OTR as at least the button spacing always looks completely off in modern DB Suits - even in in my technically correct size.

Some months ago I got my local M2M shop to try and make one for me. It took them several small changes and then a full remake of the jacket to get to where it is now. I guess it's not "perfect" but given the fact that I basically had them bend every facet of their standard cut to the extreme, I'm really happy with the end result. The extra heavy Flanell fabric was the right move no matter what, I love how it drapes.
