porsche dealer wants $7,094 for a windshield replacement on a 2023 cayenne. is this normal?
looking for a sanity check before i pull the trigger or shop around.
porsche dealer quote for OEM windshield + ADAS camera (lane-keep) calibration on a 2023 cayenne.
breakdown:
• windshield: $2,993.66 parts + $1,830 labor + $319.57 tax = $5,143.23
• ADAS camera calibration: $1,830 labor + $121.24 tax = $1,951.24
• total: $7,094.47
three questions for anyone who’s been through this:
1. $2,993 for an OEM cayenne windshield, fair?
2. $1,830 in labor on each line item feels heavy. anyone seen lower?
3. is the safelite / independent glass shop route viable for a newer cayenne with ADAS, or do you basically have to go dealer for the calibration?
