Does she truly deserves this ??

A year ago, she thought life was finally giving her someone she could hold onto. She waited with hope, thinking maybe one day they would meet again at the right time.
But somewhere along the way, life changed. He found someone else, entered a relationship, and slowly became a part of a different world — one where she no longer belonged the same way.
Exactly one year later, on the same date, that same person walked away from her life.
Funny how dates remember things better than people do.
The strange part was — she wasn’t even angry while leaving. Her last words to him were:
“Your happiness matters to me, even if it hurts me.”
Maybe that was her mistake.
For one whole year, she carried unfinished emotions quietly. Not because she wanted to ruin his relationship, not because she wanted him back, but because some people leave an impact that does not disappear easily.
When he came back into her life again, she thought maybe this time things would heal properly. They talked, laughed, revisited old memories, and for a moment she genuinely believed some connections survive timing.
But reality is different from imagination.
At the end, he told her that talking to her made him feel like he was doing something wrong. He never really asked how all of it felt from her side. Still, she chose silence over argument, because his happiness mattered more to her than being understood.
Some people enter a person’s life at the wrong time, care deeply, and still cannot stay.
She never told him everything she felt. Maybe she wanted to protect him. Maybe she wanted to protect whatever friendship was left between them.
In the end, nothing dramatic happened.
No betrayal.
No big fight.
Just two people who once mattered deeply to each other slowly becoming memories......
