My friend never calls me first
We just hung out last night and we said yes let's hang out today! On the way out I said call me! And she didn't acknowledge it. She just said I love you, which is still great but dodged me. She has done this multiple times and also never calls me first. I've brought up minority "I know you're very busy but I'd really like it if you would call me first" and she said she'd try. Its 12 (noon) and she wakes up at 6 am and still hasn't called me :/
I said hi on text and all she said was "it's been a relaxing morning!" - no call.
IDK what's going on.
I would appreciate some advice to phrase this. We're both on the spectrum, both females late 20s. She's so busy with a million things, except today which is why we were trying to hang out again - normally had court stuff with kids and other fun stuff. We hung out last night. I always call first. Whenever I say "call me!" She never says I will! And she also never does, and never says "I'm sorry it's really hard for me to make phone calls". It makes me sad and I know it's already started the building blocks for resentment. I also also struggling because I'd like to do it in person but then I have to initiate her another phone call and hang out session. How do I navigate this?
