Lady ordered a drive up order then proceeded to try to come in the store to shop for said item herself…

Woman came up to guest services today with some pants.

Her: I ordered these online for pick up but here they are. Can you finalize my order. I can’t wait.

Me: Oh ma’am since you found them in store I can definitely show you where to cancel your drive-up order so you can buy the pants in store.

Her: I tried to cancel it. I can’t. I already paid for THESE (holds them up) pants. Why can’t I just take them.

Me: I’m sorry ma’am. Once an order is placed with our drive up service we don’t really have the power to go into a system and mess with their processes.

Her: Then go get these drive up people.

Me: Ma’am there is a whole process…

Her: I want a manager. Now.

The manager then proceeds to tell her the same thing I just did; to cancel the order and then buy it in store. She miraculously was able to cancel it when she was speaking to the Manager…

Drive-up Woes

Why, oh why, do people feel the need to park in drive-up spot 17 (the farthest from door) when 1-16 are COMPLETELY OPEN?!

Ma’am you might be in an air conditioned car but I’m dying in a heat advisory at 94 degrees and 60% humidity. But oh don’t worry I have my target provided cooling hat.😵‍💫

Honorable mention to the fact that I wasnt even supposed to be on Drive-up. I was supposed to be on checkout lanes this whole 7 hour shift.

AIO for threatening to move my Bfs computer out of our room?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years. He moved in with me a little over a year and since we’ve both had our gaming PCs in our bedroom so we can still interact with each other while playing games, working, etc.

For a few months he has been playing games with his squad late at night that requires callouts. Typically that wouldn’t be an issue for me because I understand how important callouts can be in games. My issue lies in the fact that he’s woken me up multiple times at 1-3am when I have to be awake at 6-7am. I have insomnia so it’s extremely hard for me to sleep at night as it is so being woken up after I’ve finally fallen asleep is awful for me.

Like imagine being in a peaceful sleep and then hearing a grown man yelling “LEFT. LEFT. HES CRACKED. HES ONE SHOT. GET HIM!” It’s a little jarring. 😅

I’ve given him about 8 warnings that if he keeps waking me up like that, that I was going to have him move his PC downstairs so I wouldn’t be woken up accidentally anymore. I thought it made sense. He was mildly upset at me bringing this suggestion up and dismissed the thought. He told me that I was overreacting.

He woke me up again last night. Luckily I didn’t have to get up early but it was still the principle of the matter.

I feel he’s being extremely inconsiderate waking me up like that 2-3 times a week. Playing games isn’t his career or anything and some days he will be quiet but others he just can’t I guess. We have room to move the PC downstairs but he would be in the common areas of the house and not secluded in our bedroom.

Am I overreacting?

Boyfriend’s snoring makes me think he’s going for an Olympic Gold in log sawing

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years. Since he’s moved in with me he has always snored. But lately he has been SNORING. LOUDLY. AGGRESSIVELY.

At this point, I’m fully convinced/concerned he has sleep apnea. I even took a video to show him the next morning of how bad it is hoping he would take it seriously.

Medical concerns aside though…I can’t sleep if he falls asleep before me. It’s impossible and it’s honestly mildly infuriating on the verge of extremely infuriating. As I type this I’m literally laying next to the next Olympic gold log sawing champion. I already struggle with insomnia and It’s hard to explain just how agitating it is to finally fall asleep to be awoken by these aggressive sleep noises.

I’ve tried my noice cancelling AirPods but they can be uncomfortable to sleep in. I’ve begged him to go to the doctor but he has no health insurance so he refuses to go. Says if he dies in his sleep…he dies. I try to think about him too in this situation but it’s not keeping him up. He falls asleep in literal minutes and becomes a sawmill.

Does anyone have a partner who snores? If so, how do you deal with it? Or if you have had a snoring problem, how did you deal with it?
