Could the ASUS ROG Strix 1200W Platinum be the reason my PC turn off?

So, last week my PC just shut off while i was gaming. I quickly came to the conclution its probably heat issues, so i took some drastic mesures of gaming for a week with an open case and extra fans blow on PC, i turned off quickstart, did a bios update, cleaned out alot of SSD space and leftover files, repaired various system files and started using HWinfo to mesure the heat.

So, according to HWinfo nothing seem off, like my PC shut down the highest temp was 78 degrees and it was on my 7800x3D, and thats not even that hot. My 5090 is also sitting at low temps while beeing underclocked from long ago.

Some gaming sessions later, i still get PC just shut down and no heat issues to be found.

The only real "new componend" from a few months ago is the 5090 and a ASUS ROG Strix 1200W Platinum PSU.

Now i got the PSU for the "voltage sensing with patented-intelligent voltage stabilizer". But beeing new to this brand of PSU´s im very unfamiliar with the reliability of their PSU´s.

Many threads out there suggest the PC shutting down might be related to PSU issues.

Did anyone else experience issues with this PSU?
