Running out of shelf space in my office, so I had been meaning to try ceiling display. Used my Aile Strike Gundam as test case, since if it fails I have a spare Strike Gundam.

My setup: Typical office ceiling with foam boards. I used simple screw on hooks x4, 40 lbs fishing line, and card binder rings for easy removal. I tried with 2 or 3 mount points, but really needs 4 for pose stability: shoulder and knees proved to be the best ones to use.

I’ll see if it’s stable after a week, then I have two others to ceiling mount as well!

Btw just a tip when you need to buy tires… consider price matching at America’s Tires website.

Not sure what happened but yesterday my Porsche started having low front tire pressure alerts, and it looks like there was a sidewall puncture. This means needs replacement of BOTH front tires (Pirelli P Zero 285/35 R22 tires)

Local tire shop websites were showing $540-592 per tire, before taxes and installation. Amazon had it for $477 each, but still need to take it to a tire shop for installation. Costco didn’t have Pirellis, unless I was willing to switch all 4 to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S which I didn’t want to do.

I noticed they had a button to price match, so submitted my price match to America’s Tire website, linking the Amazon price…. I expected them to simply match it but they blew it out of the water, total price $850s for the pair including taxes, installation and road hazard!
