Disclaimer: Before reading, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to networking and this kind of stuff. I don't really understand the technical details, so please don't ask me anything too complex. My knowledge is very limited. I just use Nuvio and Stremio to watch content online with a Real-Debrid subscription, and I managed to fix this issue.

I migrated my addons from Stremio to Nuvio, and when I tried to play a movie in Nuvio I got the "Wrong IP" error. However, the exact same movie played perfectly in Stremio using the exact same addon and configuration.

After some testing, I found that the issue seems to be that Nuvio (or its internal player) is using IPv6, while Stremio uses IPv4. Because of this, ElfHosted doesn't recognize the playback request as coming from the same IP address.

To fix it, I did the following on Windows:

Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Click your active network → Properties → Uncheck "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)"

After disabling IPv6, the "Wrong IP" error disappeared and everything worked normally.

I hope the Nuvio developers can add an option to force the player to use IPv4, or at least allow it for specific sources/addons if that's possible. That would avoid having to disable IPv6 system-wide

^(aclaracion:) ^(antes de que lean, soy muy novato, no entiendo mucho de esto asi que no me pregunten cosas complejas, mis conocimientos son vagos y limitados, solamente uso nuvio y stremio para ver contenido online con una suscripcion de real debrid y pude solucionar este problema)

Migre mis addons de Stremio a Nuvio y cuando quise reproducir una pelicula marcaba el error "WRONG IP" en Nuvio, mientras que en Stremio si podia reproducir la misma pelicula con la exacta misma configuracion, y esto se debe a que Nuvio (o su reproductor) utiliza un protocolo de internet IPV6 mientras que el reproductor de Stremio usa el protocolo IPV4 entonces ElfHosted no lo reconoce como valida la ip de el reproductor de Nuvio, para solucionarlo tienen que ir a Panel de control> Centro de redes y recursos compartidos>Su propia red> propiedades> Desmarcar la opcion de "habilitar protocolo internet version 6 (ipv6)

una vez hecho esto pude solucionar el tema de la IP, espero que los desarrolladores de Nuvio agreguen una opcion para forzar al reproductor a usar ipv4 ( o al menos con ciertas fuentes/addons si es posible)
